Season Starts Swell...then not so swell

 

Welcome to the 2010 season of Lazybears softball.  The rollercoaster ride that is LazyBears softball is already up and running.  With three games under their belts this season the LazyBears have a record of 1-2.  Check out the summaries of the games listed below.

 

4/30/10 LazyBears 26 , Rebels 21

First win of the season and first win ever over the Red Bud squad.  Lots of surprising hitting considering most of the LazyBears hadn't bothered to show up for voluntary workouts. 

5/6/10 Bullpen 24 , LazyBears 18

A ten run top of the first for the Bullpen put the LazyBears behind the cueball all night.  Hitting was sporatic, but there was enough to threaten the game all the way.

5/7/10 Kretzer's Bar and Grill 18 , LazyBears 16

In the LazyBears first game in St. Libory the LB's held the lead most of the game until the wrath of the first batter error struck allowing a landslide of runs to score in the inning.  With a chance to win the game in the bottom of the inning a leadoff triple was able to score, but nothing else was mustered.  BOO!

 

 

Back in action 5/13 @ 7pm against the Outsiders in RB and 5/14 @ 8pm in St. Libory.  Show up and be merry!
